Skaraborg is a growing region, and our 15 municipalities have a current and future need to attract more people to live and work here. Life in Skaraborg is a platform where we gather information and inspiration about life in Skaraborg for those who want to become part of it.
In addition to the website lifeinskaraborg.se, we manage a CRM system where people can ask questions to our relocation guides. Relocation guides are available in all municipalities across Skaraborg and are happy to answer questions from prospective residents.
The content produced by Life in Skaraborg may be used and shared by anyone in Skaraborg for the purpose of informing and inspiring others about life in the region. We encourage employers, municipalities, organizations, and other stakeholders to use the materials we provide to strengthen the image of Skaraborg as an attractive place to live.
The Team Behind Life in Skaraborg
The Life in Skaraborg initiative is run by a working group at the Skaraborg Association of Local Authorities, together with around thirty relocation guides located throughout the region. You can find relocation guides in every municipality, and they are always happy to answer any questions we receive.
The development of the initiative is led by Richard Dyvelås. The stories featuring the many inspiring people of Skaraborg are written by Miranda Bergsten. If you have a suggestion for someone whose story should be shared through our channels, feel free to get in touch with her.

Commissioning Organization
Life in Skaraborg was launched as a project by the Skaraborg Association of Local Authorities in 2021. The goal of the project was to ensure access to information and inspiration about jobs, housing, and leisure opportunities for people considering a move to Skaraborg.
The project has since evolved into a long-term initiative, and the work continues with the Skaraborg Association of Local Authorities as the commissioning organization.
The project, which ran from 2021 to 2023, was funded by Subregional Development Funds in Skaraborg, Region Västra Götaland, and the Skaraborgs Sparbanksstiftelse. The long-term initiative is funded during the period 2023 to 2026 by Subregional Development Funds and from 2026 the Skaraborgs Sparbanksstiftelse is also a contributor.
Collaboration Across Skaraborg
Several organizations in Skaraborg work actively to increase the attractiveness of the region for different target groups. At Life in Skaraborg, we collaborate with organizations such as Business Region Skaraborg and Visit Skaraborg.
